'Crystal I' steel series

The brief from a private client was based on the Crystal series - Deborah was asked to take the idea a step further, adding LED lights & mounting on a stainless steel polished box canvas. As you can see this is a piece of work that not only changes with daylight travelling around the room, thus throwing shadows on the steel canvas from the glass, it also changes by night to a sophisticated subtle lit sculpture. Commissions taken - price on application.

'Waves'

Sculpted fused glass wall panel..1 meter by 60cms

The brief was to create a sculpted panel of glass to replicate waves with colours of blues, greens and turquoise with the addition of bubble inclusions to add to the texture of this piece. The panel has been installed and images will follow soon. Other sizes and colours can be replicated - prices on application.

Feature designs - two commissions completed for a dental practice in Shoreham- by- Sea.

'Monolith' Kyrka Hus'

Inspiration for this design was based on the Monolith series ~ meaning standing rock. The client gave a firm brief of what was expected, but also left part of the design with Deborah to work with. Seeing as this piece was to be displayed on a feature wall Deborah fused more intense pigments to make the design really stand out. The glass was built up in many layers,16 in total, helping to give depth to the 'Monolith' as well as a heavy, tactile, sculptured finish.

 'Shoreham'  Hanging fused glass sculpture.

The second commission to be installed in the shoreham dental practice.

This one being designed for the stairway. The first in this design and fixings used were high spec satin finish aluminium. Lengths of glass are cut with measurements having to be very accurate. As well as the glass having a strong stucture to the overall design it was also slumped to give the feeling of a shoal of fish moving through the glass wave. Not obvious in these images, but tiny bubbles are included in the wave following the bottom line of the glass.
