This page contains fused glass designs & sculptures created from 100% recycled glass.
Deborah's new page is to show just some of the many glass sculptures she creates from recycled glass. As well as the glass itself Deborah's packaging materials are also recycled & from sustainable sources.
So, what recyled glass does Deborah use?
Bottles from wine to beer to milk bottles to name a few. Marbles
Jam jars
Windows
It isn't as simple as just mixing together any old glass as it has a compatability rate 'COE' for short, so this has to be taken into consideration. Apart from the designing process strict firing programmes need to be created and experimented before Deborah is happy with the end result.
Deborah has also been designing and creating recycled glass awards for over 3 years now, some of her past clients inc: Mersey basin foundation, Atlantic chambers, Cheshire council, Northwest business enviroment awards. Please visit the commission page for images.
